Alliteration
Alliteration is the recurrence of a particular sound in a sentence or phrase that sounds the same. Usually its a tongue twister or really difficult to say. For example, Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Alliteration is a special case of consonance. Consonance refers to the recurrence of consonant sounds. Alliteration may also include different consonants with similar sounds such as alliterating z with s.
There is a special form of alliteration called Symmetrical Alliteration. In this case, the sentence or phrase begins and ends with word both starting with the same word, while the two middle words are similar. This is where this name for this form alliteration comes from. The phrase will have symmetric. For example: "rust brown blazers rule".
